Total Words Written for Nanowrimo: 10,825
At this rate I will finish on January 4.
Okay, so I am still not reaching my word count goals I set up for myself originally. I am proud of myself for sticking with writing for almost every day, even if I write only 300 words. That is maybe harder than writing 2000 words in a day, because the next day I feel like I haven’t gotten anywhere.
At this point, if I do finish on January 4th that would be fine with me. The most important thing to me with this project is that it is good. I have put a lot more thought and effort into this project than I have in previous ones. It is the last book in my trilogy and I want it to be good. If I feel like I’m veering off course, in previous years I might have just kept going with the idea just to get the word count out there.
However, this trilogy is already established. I know the characters well and I want their endings to be respectful of their beginnings.
I know this is like the tiniest blog post, but that’s the update. Here I go on to week 3.
