Reviews from Readers:

This novel was published on Kindle Vella first, so there are a few reviews from readers on that platform. Keep reading to see what they had to say about the novel!

Read the first three episodes and I’m hooked. I grew up on the WA coast and this feels like Veronica Mars if it took place in my hometown. The characters feel fully fleshed out and while I’m far removed from highschool, I can still relate with the little interpersonal snafus. Give this one a read if you’re looking for a fun mystery!

5 Stars from Kindle Vella Reviewer

Small town mystery that has me feeling like I am part of the community! I was hooked after the first chapter and want more! The reader invited us into the lives of these interesting characters and I feel like I know them! I can really relate to the relationships even though they are young teens. I enjoyed reading it even as an adult. The mystery was gripping and realistically written. I could feel the ‘what if this was my family or someone I knew’ as I read. Very enjoyable!

5 Stars from Kindle Vella Reviewer

I just finished reading the first episode, and I have to say that I am hooked! I loved all the characters, and I am a huge sucker for a missing person’s story—it’s the true crime nerd in me. Thank you, to the author, for giving us short, easy-to-read paragraphs on this new format. And I wanted desperately to respond to your author’s note! I loved the little note at the end. I will definitely hang in through the entire story.

Previously Released on Kindle Vella

I know some of you might be wondering why I’m choosing to release it again as an eBook and a paperback, even though I already released it on Kindle Vella. I decided to release it this way because I heard from a few readers that couldn’t read it on Kindle Vella, since it is only available in the US, who were disappointed. I also listened to some readers who were not comfortable reading on their phones and found reading on Kindle Vella to be difficult. For these reasons, I wanted to make sure that anyone that wanted to read the story had the opportunity to.

I also really wanted to be able to put this book on my own bookshelf because I love it so much!

The book is still available on Kindle Vella, so if you aren’t sure if this is the book for you, hop over to Kindle Vella and read the first three chapters for free.
